Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Add the Bisquick and sour cream in a large mixing bowl and mix together using a fork or pastry blender.
Pour in the 7-Up and mix just until combined. The dough will be sticky and very wet.
Pour about 1/4-1/2 cup of Bisquick onto a cutting board. Place the stick dough on top and roll the dough around into the Bisquick a couple of times to coat.
Gently pat the dough into a circle about 1 inch thick.
Use a circle cutter or wine glass to cut out 8 biscuits.
Add the melted butter to the skillet or baking pan.
Place the biscuits into the 10-inch skillet or 9×9 baking pan. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let them sit for 5 minutes to soak up the butter and serve!
Notes
I don’t recommend using diet soda for this recipe.
