Creamy Baked Mac and Cheese in an Air Fryer
You can eat this mac and cheese right out of the pan while it’s still hot. Warm, cheesy, and no regrets.
Things you need
2 cups of cooked macaroni (a little undercooked is best)
1½ cups of shredded cheese, such as cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix
½ cup of milk or cream
2 tablespoons of butter
Black pepper and salt
½ teaspoon of garlic powder (optional)
Extra cheese or breadcrumbs are optional toppings.
How I Do It
Mix the base together.
Put the cooked pasta, butter, milk, most of the cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl. Mix until everything is covered and smooth.
Put it in the air fryer
Put the mixture in a small oven-safe dish or an air fryer pan lined with parchment paper. Make sure it is spread out evenly.
Put the top on
Add the rest of the cheese (and breadcrumbs, if using) to the top.
