It’s time to relax a little with today’s joke. Today, a man called home to talk to his wife. His daughter answered, and she told him that her mother was with Uncle David. Only, there never was an Uncle David. So the man thought his wife was cheating on him. However, the story turned out differently.
A man wants to talk to his wife
A man desperately wanted to talk to his wife to ask her something. The latter was not at home. He then picked up his phone and dialed a number to reach his wife. After a few seconds, someone picked up. It was a little girl. The father then asked her: “Hello, sweetheart, it’s Dad on the phone… Can you put me through to Mom?” At that moment, the little girl made a revelation he wasn’t expecting. She told him: “I can’t, she’s upstairs in her room with Uncle David.”
Who is Uncle David?
A silence suddenly fell between the man and the little girl. In fact, in his family, there had never been an Uncle David. He didn’t even know anyone with that name. The man wondered who this famous David was and why he was with his wife. The man then told the little girl: “But my dear, you don’t have an Uncle David.” To which she replied: “Yes, yes, he’s in the room with Mom!” The man then had an idea to find out if his wife was cheating on him. He explained to the little girl what she should do.

He told the little girl, “Well, OK, well, here’s what I want you to do: put down the phone, run upstairs, knock on the bedroom door, and yell to Mom and Uncle David that Dad’s car just drove into the garage…” The girl agreed, then went upstairs to call her mother and Uncle David. The man was waiting on the other end of the line to see what would happen. A few seconds later, the child returned. “I did what you told me, Dad,” she said. The man then asked her how her mother reacted.
